Kuban ranked number two in the rating of regions’ competitiveness set by AV Group that was presented at the Forum of strategists in Saint Petersburg.
Moscow holds leadership. Moscow region, Tatarstan and Saint Petersburg follows Krasnodar region, as reported by the Press-Service of the Administration of Krasnodar region.
– We can say about сrisis resilience of Kuban diversified economy; and we will remain on such a path: not merely to fund the budget but also to improve economic performances. The improved positions of the region among the benchmark regions of Russia is an evidence of not only the economic stability of Kuban, but also of the significance and value of its contribution towards the development of the country, at large, - noted Veniamin Kondratyev.
According to the Vice-Governor of the region, Igor Galas’, in the previous rating Krasnodar region ranked number six. Based upon the expert analysis, the growth of human and financial capital, investments and a number of other factors contributed to a big leap forward of the region.
As a reminder, AV Group annually presents the rating of regions’ competitiveness at the Russian Forum "Strategic planning in the regions and cities of Russia" hosted in Saint Petersburg since the year 2002.
