Businessmen from Afghanistan visited the Krasnodar Region

The delegation participated in a roundtable discussion on the export of Kuban goods to Afghanistan organized by the Export Support Center of the Krasnodar region. This discussion was part of two national projects: International Cooperation and Export, and Small and Medium Entrepreneurship.

"We are interested in two things. First of all, we want to expand the range of goods exported to Afghanistan. Secondly, we want to increase the volume of exports of products that are already being supplied. Kuban companies export vegetable oils and fats, sugar and confectionery, goods from the flour and poultry industries, cereals and legumes," said Vasily Vorobyev, Head of the Department of Business Development and Foreign Economic Activity of the Krasnodar Region.

The Export Support Centre is set to connect the representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and companies from Afghanistan, with a goal to explore new market opportunities and find new suppliers. Negotiations have already been held between potential partners. As part of the business agenda, participants of the procurement delegation will have the opportunity to meet with companies interested in exporting their products.

The visit of the procurement delegation was organized with the assistance of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the region.
