CLAAS intends to invest 6.6 million euro in expansion of the plant in Krasnodar

The international company has already spent 150 million EUR to construct an enterprise in the Krasnodar Region with a capacity of up to 2,500 units of equipment during a year.

As representatives of the company told, the funds will be used to expand the areas and to create an additional infrastructure of the enterprise.

The Administration of the Consortium emphasized that the tax deductions of the Krasnodar plant in 2017 amounted to 800 million rubles. Sales of CLAASs combine harvesters in Russia increased by 38% this year, due to which the company increased its share up to 47% among western brands.

According to Dirk Seeliger, Deputy General Director of CLAAS Vostok, the growth occurred including thanks to the record grain harvest received this year.

As the Vice-Governor of the Region Vasiliy Shvets noted, the German machine manufacturing company enter the Krasnodar Region as one of the first foreign investors in 2003. Now, the Krasnodar branch of the Consortium is among the four largest of 11 CLAASs factories in the world, and it is the most advanced plant for the production of agricultural machinery in Europe, the press service of the Administration of the Krasnodar Region informs.

Vasiliy Shvets reminded that it was with CLAAS that the first special investment contract was concluded in Russia. Thus, the enterprise officially established the status of the «Russian producer of agricultural machinery», the purchase of which can be carried out with the financial support of the state.
